Añejo Sour
A smooth and sophisticated take on a classic sour, this cocktail lets the aged complexity of Casa Azul Orgánico Tequila Añejo shine. With a base of tequila añejo, it’s brightened by fresh lemon juice, agave nectar, and orange bitters, while an egg white dry shake gives it a silky, foamy texture.
Ingredients
- 2.5 oz Casa Azul Orgánico Tequila Añejo
- .25 oz agave nectar
- 1 oz lemon juice
- 2 dashes orange bitters
- 1 egg white
Method
1. Add all ingredients to cocktail tin without ice.
2. Dry shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.
3. Add ice to cocktail tin and shake again for 15 seconds.
4. Fine strain into a chilled coupe glass.
5. Garnish with skewered luxardo cherry.
